The Board of Trustees is responsible for the operations of the Scotland County Health Department and The Scotland County Public Health Fund. The board is responsible for setting the annual tax levy. The board is also instrumental in implementing public health programs, and adopting public health ordinances / regulations designed for improvement and protection of the health of all who live, work, and visit Scotland County.
The Board of Trustees meets at the health department, located at 214 W. Madison Memphis, Mo. This meeting is held the second Thursday of each month at 6 pm.
